The original was done all in dotting tools and so was this, except for a few touch ups with a small brush at the end. The orange unfortunately photographed as red, but I can assure you it is actually Revlon's Mad About Mango which I used in the original nails too.
What do you think? Is it an improvement or a step back? At least there's a clear improvement in photography skills!

Maybe if you added more blue dots that were closer together the design would have looked fuller. It isn't always easy to recreate looks and have them look like the original.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore this series! The original idea was great, but now you have mastered the execution and photography too))) Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love these nails! I think it looks a lot cuter on your shorter nails.
ReplyDeleteI really like it :)
ReplyDeleteWay cuter on the shorter nail version. (But that doesn't have to do with the length - the blue dots are very small & spaced out on the long nails)
ReplyDeleteI love that some blue dots are bigger than others and the colour combination is amazing.
ReplyDeleteYou deffinitely improved your photography skills and that means a LOT in my opinion :)
Your photography has improved a bit
ReplyDeleteI do like them both but I prefer the smaller blue dots in the original better. I think you've improved a bit too the petals now are more uniform in size and shape :)
Stunning! I've never seen a design like this before
ReplyDeleteAmazingly creative, I love it!
ReplyDeleteSo wish I could put designs on my own nails, you inspire me!
