Autumnal Flowers

Hey everyone! I've had such a busy January, I haven't had an evening to myself all month, yet somehow it seems to be dragging by. Why is it that it always feels like the longest month? Even though it's my birthday month and I've been having a really great time I still can't wait for the month to end... mainly because pay day can't come quick enough!  Anyway, I finally had time to sit down and paint my nails and it felt great to get the brushes out again. It feels like a long time since I've painted anything. I was digging around for some inspiration and I found an old design by The Illustrated Nail and I knew I had to do some nails inspired by it. These aren't a direct copy, the original was a lot more detailed and I only looked at the original before doing the design not during so I didn't realise that they were so dissimilar until after.

I wanted to use some recent Sally Hansen and Barry M shades I was sent so I used Sally Hansen - Pink Pong*, Can't Beet Royalty* and Totem-ly Yours* for the flowers. All details were done using Winstonia brushes. The base colour is Barry M - Cotton, and the leaves were done using Barry M - Oasis* from the new autumn Coconut Infusion range. Finished with a coat of Seche Vite

What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I have a dress which reminds of this manicure... your mani has something country but delicate and chic!
The natural colour combination is fabulous!
