Neon Beads Nail Art

Hey everyone! Today I have a few new products to show you from Born Pretty Store and Models Own. I decided to do a simple swatch and a bit of nail art (because we all know that's what you're here for really). So here we go!

For the blue (219)* I needed 2 coats, it's a pretty thick polish but it looks really great. For the pink (214)* I needed 4 coats, it's pretty sheer so it needed a bit of build up but I think it would work great for a jelly sandwich

The colours I have here are 219 and 214, unfortunately they dont have names but you can find them both here for $6 each

I loved how these polishes looked together but I really wanted to add my new Models Own Artstix Nail Beads* to the design.

I have the beads in Neon Pink and Neon Green, and, as you can see from my camera's inability to photograph them, they are incredibly neon, and I absolutely love them. These are also nothing like any other caviar beads I've tried, they're not painted over a silver base, so when you apply a top coat to them the colour doesn't run, which is brill!

You can find these beads here on the Models Own website or in your nearest Boots store for £4 each, these are definitely worth the price and I would 100% recommend them.

I also used Butter London's matte top coat, which I shall be reviewing soon, but can be found here if you're interested.

What do you think? Will you be buying either the polishes or the beads? Let me know in the comments!

Flowers and beads

Hey everyone, sorry (again) for the delay in posting, I do try to post every other day and at most every 3 days and that's really all it's been cos I've not been to sleep yet so in my head it is still Saturday and not 2am Sunday, though it's still Saturday in America so that's okay, haha.

Anyway, on to the nails! I was inspired to create these nails after seeing them (uncredited) on tumblr, but later found out that they were done by itsallnails, the original picture is at the bottom of the post :)

I used Models Own - Utopia, Barry M - Matte White, beads from Born Pretty Store (use my code KHL91 for 10% off!) and an unnamed Dark Blue by W7

Hope you like them!

Pink Gradients Take 2

Hi everyone, sorry it's been a bit quiet around here for a few days, I've just moved away to uni and I'm feeling pretty low at the moment. I've not done my nails and I dont want to either. This is a design I did a few weeks ago in preparation for such a thing, and some of you may have seen this on my instagram before I added the studs. I'm trying to improve my gradient-ing skills because they're never very ombre and I dont think these are much better, though I liked them a lot more once I added the studs, hope you all like them too!

Ikat and beads

This post was just as a result of me messing around with yesterday's nails, I really debated whether to post these and I'm still not really sure about them. Mainly because I dont want you all to think I'm being lazy with posting because I posted twice about my feather nails as well. I tend to like seeing how designs can be transformed into something, be it with matte top coat or beads and I'm sorry if you were expecting something new today, I'll try not to do this too much!

I hope you like them anyway :) Alice
