Paul Frank

I've had so many Paul Frank iPhone cases I've lost count. Blue, Red, Black, Green, you name it. So I thought it was about time I did a nail design based around one of them, my latest one and my favourite colour: GREEN! I intended to do these quite early in the evening, but my boyfriend called me for over an hour and then my friend called me with troubles, so these were done around 1am, and I am so tired as a result, but I love them! Mainly because of how much I love Paul Frank :D Hope you like them too!

The design for the thumb came from this photo on Facebook, but I changed the body to another picture I found :)

Cath Kidston

For all of you who've followed me on tumblr for a while, you'll know I really love Cath Kidston. These were based on this design, but I think I got a bit dot happy. Nevertheless, I really do like them :)

Miffy, a cute little bunny

Hello lovely people, before I start I just want to say these took forever to do. Every other design I've ever done has been done with nail varnish and dotting tools but with this is decided to do the outline with black acrylic paint and a brush and it look so much longer than I thought it would (and I'm still not happy with the result!)
Anyway, Miffy nails!

The books the outfits are from are:
Thumb: 'Miffy goes flying'
Forefinger: 'Miffy's birthday'
Middle finger: 'Miffy at the gallery'
Ring finger: 'Miffy at the seaside'
Little finger: 'Miffy at the zoo'
I was tempted to do all the animals from 'Miffy at the zoo' but opted to do different outfits instead after my friend said it would look better.
P.S. I used my dad's posh camera this time, do you think it looks any clearer?

Easter nails

Hey everyone!
I've been so busy today that I just havn't had a chance to post these, which means easter is going to be pretty much over by the time this post is complete (but at least I still have loads of chocolate, yay!)
Anyway, I decided to go against/with the usual formula of a cute little bunny and some easter eggs by drawing Miffy instead (aka 'the cute little bunny', so my plan didn't go too well). This was my first time using acrylic paints on my nails (the outline of Miffy) and I'm quite happy with how it turned out, especially as I did it quickly and whilst talking to my sister! Anyway, enjoy:

Blue Roses

This started out as me just wanting to use the nail polishes I got from a swap with fuckyeahnatassia on tumblr for American polishes and I wanted to use the Essie ones especially, but as I mentioned before, I dont like plain nails, so I had to do a pattern and this is what came from that :)

Hope you like them :) thanks for looking

Glow in the dark

Hi everyone, unfortunately I have an annoying habit of deleting my pictures after I've posted them on tumblr, so this blog isn't going to contain all my previous designs, if you're interested you can view them on my tumblr, but instead all new ones and the couple of designs I still have a few pictures of. One of which is my glow in the dark mani, which for the life of me I couldn't capture on my camera or my phone, so I turned to my dad and asked him if he had a camera that would do the trick, and he did! So here are my photos of my nails glowing in the dark, and just in daylight. I didn't want to take these off, purely because I enjoyed looking at them so much in the dark. I got some really weird looks in lessons when I kept cupping my hand around the other and peering in, or when I was hiding them under the desk, they must all think I'm mental but it was so worth it! Haha.

Hope you like them and thanks for reading
Alice :)
