Mice and Cheese

Happy Tuesday everyone! I've got something slightly different from the usual florals and patterns today with this mice and cheese design. I saw a few similar ideas floating around on Pinterest, and I stumbled across this design, and I loved the idea so much that I had to recreate it. I tried these first on false nails to see how they looked, and I must admit my first attempt was slightly better than these, but I hope you still like them!

Grumpy Cats

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I did any non-floral nails so I decided to mix things up a bit with these grumpy cat nails. They weren't supposed to look so moody, but once I'd painted a couple of the cats and they started to look sullen I decided to just go with it. After all, cats are pretty moody right? At least mine is anyway! I've always considered myself a cat person but I'm definitely becoming a dog person too now, and I can't wait to get my own place so I can actually get pets! These were pretty straight forward to create, but full details are after the jump.

Flower Foxes for Barry M

Hey everyone, Happy March! I'm hoping that spring comes sooner rather than later because I'm so sick of all this cold weather, I feel like I never really warm up anymore. Today I want to share a design with you that I was super proud of, I wore these for over a week and I must (shamefully) admit that I was throwing them under peoples noses. I think they were the kind of design that looked better in person because photos show up imperfections that weren't necessarily visible, but hopefully you still like them. These were half inspired by a bag I saw in a gift shop, and half inspired by just1nail (she gave me the idea to add florals to a fox design). I created these using all Barry M polishes, and as always they were flawless. See below for a full list of products used.

Pastel Frogs (aka a slight fail)

Hey everyone! Today I'm showing you what turned out to be a bit of a failure, which was frustrating because I put quite a bit of effort into these. These were inspired by a t-shirt my mum's goddaughter was wearing over christmas (picture below), but they didn't turn out as I hoped. You may or may not be able to make out (it's more obvious on my pointer finger) that I actually drew the lilypads in light blue. I stupidly chose to use a grey base rather than white and the colours just blended together once I added topcoat. They were actually quite different before which is why I continued with the design! I was however really happy with the frogs which is why I still wanted to show you the design, especially the one on my ring finger.

New Video Tutorial: Boston Terrier Dog Nails

Hey everyone! Today I have a brand new youtube tutorial for you all, it's been more than 3 months since my last one so it was definitely time! When I posted my Boston Terrier nails I got a few requests for a tutorial, and although I originally intended to a picture tutorial, I thought it would perhaps be easier to understand if I did a video tutorial. I didn't have long to do these nails at all, which is why they look very rushed, but I'm sure if you're taking time you can do a better job than me!

If you're wondering what I have on my nails, my post for those nails is here. I have an unfortunate habit of picking polish off, which is why they're chipped, I promise you the wraps stay for ages!

Let me know what you think in the comments!

Orly Black MegaPixel FX Review + Nail Art

Hey everyone! Today I have another review for you (I have a lot to get through), using the new Orly Black MegaPixel FX polish*, but this time I've included a bit of nail art. I'm actually really proud of these nails and I kept them on for a whole 3 days! Hopefully you will like them as much as I do. There's quite a few pictures in this post so I'm going to put them after the jump.
