Gelish African Safari Collection Review + Swatches

It's my favourite time... a new Gelish collection! The African Safari collection is a lovely group of autumnal shades, and it makes me feel cozy just looking at it. It can't just be me who's excited for big knit jumpers, and sitting in front of the fire with hot chocolate (especially now I have a wood fire in my new house!). Read on for my full thoughts on the colours.

Wanna Share A Tent?*, this burgundy pearl shade, or 'red garnet pearl' as Gelish describe it, was really easy to apply. This was just two coats.

Neutral By Nature* is described as a 'warm nude creme' although it reminds me of gingerbread a bit. This again was two easy coats.

Are You Lion To Me?* is a silver/pewter shimmer. I really love this shade, and it's a lot more glittery than I thought it would be. This again was 2 easy coats.

No Sudden Mauves* is my favourite of the collection, and is described as a 'rose mauve pearl' I really love the gold pearl shimmer in this, perfect for autumn. This was two coats.

No Cell Oh Well* is a 'sapphire blue pearl', i.e. a lovely navy shimmer. This was two easy coats.

Off The Grid* is a black brown creme, this is pretty much entirely black with hints of brown. This was three coats, but I could have perhaps have had only two coats with nail art.

The full collection is available from Nail Harmony UK or selected stockists.

What do you think? Have you tried the collection yet?

  1. "Off The Grid" is absolutely beautiful. The shine of the polish combined with the shape and length of your nails, is just stunning. Truly chic!
