Gelish Forever Fabulous Collection - Review + Swatches Part 2

Before I start, I just wanted to say that I am aware that this blogpost is very very delayed, but I do have a genuine reason. Just before Christmas I was in a car crash and I've had really bad whiplash ever since, which has meant that I can't paint my nails for more than an hour or two at a time before I'm in too much pain to carry on. So it's been a very slow process trying to get these swatched! Sorry if this is a bit too delayed, but I hope you like my swatches anyway.

This is the second part of my review of the Gelish - Forever Fabulous collection*, the first part can be found here. The second half of the collection is full of colours that I would definitely associate with Marilyn Munroe, read on for all my thoughts.

The Camera Loves Me* is described by Gelish as a 'deep burgundy creme' but I wouldn't say that it's a creme, while it applies easily, it's more of a jelly consistency than a creme. This was 3 thin coats.

Wish Upon A Starlet* was much more glittery than I expected it to be,  I absolutely love this shade, it would have been the perfect Christmas party shade, but there's nothing to stop you wearing this all year round as it's super elegant. this was 2 easy coats.

Diamonds Are My BFF*. LOOK AT THIS BLING. I love it, so glittery, so much bling. Perfect silver glitter. This was 3 coats but you could probably get away with two if you were doing nail art on top.

Batting My Lashes* is described by Gelish as a 'deep mahogany creme'. I think the 'deep' is a bit of an understatement because it's pretty much black. I love this shade though. This is definitely a shade that needs very thin coats however, as otherwise it will wrinkle, as I unfortunately experienced on my ring finger. I've known this to happen with a few darker shades before. This was 3 thin coats.

Ice or No Dice* is a gorgeous gold glitter. This applied like a dream, with just two easy coats needed for full opacity. It also dries smooth so you will only need one coat of topcoat for the perfect finish.

I've left the most Marilyn shade of all until last. This is A Kiss From Marilyn* and it's perfect, with such a bright finish. This would make a great date night colour, and would work well on your toes too. This was 2 easy coats.

What do you think? Have you tried the collection yet?
