Multicoloured French

Hey everyone! Sorry for the recent radio silence, I’ve had A LOT going on, I don’t want to tell you anything just yet because I don’t want to jinx it (it’s not blogging related so I’m not doing the whole “oh I can’t tell you yet because it’s a secret” thing don’t worry!) but once it’s finalised I will probably not shut up about it. So enjoy the silence while it lasts!

Today’s nails were inspired by someone I think... which is probably the vaguest thing I’ve ever said on here but I won’t lie - I painted these almost a year ago and I have no recollection of what made me do them! This blogpost is full of vague and unhelpful statements I’m sorry!

French Studded Leaves Manicure for Divine Caroline

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I spent mine sorting the last stuff for the house, we move on Friday so not long to go now. I'm so excited to have a new desk and to get it all looking perfect. I've got a whole house worth of furniture to build but all I want to get sorted is my desk! I've splurged on a new set of Alex drawers from Ikea because I don't really like my Helmer, so I'm excited to see how they work out. Today's nails are this sweet french manicure design with leaves. It's really simple to create and I've done a tutorial for Divine Caroline which you can see here.

Freehand French Manicure for Avon

Hey everyone! Today I have a simple French manicure to show you that I created for Avon using their French Manicure Kit. I know it's nothing too exciting but I've never actually posted or created a full one before. I tried to this with stencils, and I tried to do it with a dotting tool, but it ended up being that using a brush was a lot simpler and a lot neater. I was really happy with how these turned out, I took the picture before I added topcoat and unfortunately when I added topcoat they completely got ruined. There's something up with my bottle of Seche Vite which is ruining a lot of my manicures so I've decided to take the plunge and buy a bottle of HK Girl, which is quite a big step for a Seche Vite worshipper like me! I added some nail art to the after mess to clean it up a bit which I'll show you in my next post.

There's Gold at The End of The Rainbow - Tutorial with Divine Caroline

Hey everyone! This is my second post for today because I ended up creating two designs for St. Patricks day. I wanted to post them on the actual day, but it's just made it seem like I'm spamming you so maybe next time I'll post them the day before or something! These nails were created for Divine Caroline. I'm not a massive fan of how the shamrocks turned out, I feel like I rushed them a bit, but I like the pots of gold so I thought I'd still post them. If you want to learn how to create these you can check out the tutorial here.

Day at Nail Harmony UK

Hey everyone! So last month I was kindly invited down to Nail Harmony UK HQ to learn how to do gel nails with Gelish. I had a brilliant day there and met great new bloggers like Lex from Talonted Lex, Em from My Pale Skin, Cat from Perfectly Polished, and Metta from Nails by Mets. It was also nice to see Lucy and Sammy (from Lucy's Stash and The Nailasaurus) again. Stupidly, I forgot to take a camera, so thankyou very very much to Lucy for all these images, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to write a post!

The day started with some pastries and drinks, after a welcome from Georgie (head of Nail Harmony UK!) and Ezara (PR representative), which I definitely appreciated after a hellish journey that morning! The room was all prepared for us as you can see below, with tools and a lamp each for us all. We worked together in pairs so that we could practice on each other, I worked with Lucie and you can see the results of our work after the jump!
