Gelish Royal Temptations - Review and Swatches

Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed the super long Easter Weekend, I certainly made the most of it with a spring clean but also a few days of chilling out. I feel much more refreshed!

Today I've got the gorgeous Gelish - Royal Temptations Collection* to show you. I've made no secrets of my love of Gelish, and this collection is no different. I really feel that the formula of the new bottles is so much better than the old, so much so that I've pretty much stopped using all my old bottles! Read on for my thoughts on the collection.

A England Russian Soul Collection Review + Swatches

Hey everyone! I hope you've all had a lovely weekend. This weekend was my younger sister's birthday and father's day so it's been quite a busy one for me, but it's been nice to spend some time with my family. Today I've got a review of the gorgeous new A-England Russian Soul collection*. The collection consists of 5 majestic holographic glitters ranging from silver to navy, which are described as being inspired by 'Russian music and dance', and all of which are absolutely stunning. I'm still quite new to A-England but the polishes absolutely blow me away every time. Full review after the jump

Barry M Spring 2014 Gelly Hi Shine Collection Swatches and Review

Hey everyone! Today I have the gorgeous new Barry M spring Gelly Hi Shine collection to show you, these have been out for a few weeks but I finally got my hands on them and they're all gorgeous. You'll see some nail art in the next week or so using them because I just couldn't resist. There are 3 polishes in this collection so it's slightly smaller than their usual releases, but that just means that it's easier for you to afford the whole collection! You all know my love of pastels, especially blues, so it will be no surprise to you that I adore this collection, and you'll definitely be seeing these a lot more on my blog. More pictures and information after the jump!

New Barry M Gelly Nail Paint 2013 swatches and review

Hey everyone! As promised, I have a review of the new Barry M gelly nail varnishes to show you today. I was SO excited to receive these for review. I'm sure many of you have realised by now that Barry M is my number one love over any other brand, so I'm completely in awe that I'm now a blogger for them! Anyway, they have released 4 new gelly nail varnishes to add to the 9 that they released last year. I haven't tried any of them, but from what I've heard the only thing different is the colours, which I must say I absolutely LOVE. Swatches and information after the jump.

Saran Wrap + One Stroke

Hey everyone! So today I have a couple of techniques bundled into one. I love 'saran wraps', even though I've only ever done one before, and I've wanted to try the 'one stroke' nail art technique that I've seen a number of bloggers use. I actually watched a number of tutorials for this and none were what I was looking for in my design so I just googled a few pictures and worked with that but I'd say the most helpful was this one.

For my saran wrap I used a base of China Glaze - Refresh Mint and then put Barry M - Cyan Blue and Berry on top. I know there's a few techniques out there for this but I just dab the wet nail varnish with a bundled up piece of cling film. I've included a picture of the saran wrap on it's own too :)

Then I used white and blue acrylic paint for the flowers, added a coat of Seche Vite and then stuck the rhinestones on with extra top coat

Also, some time this week I'm going to be starting a new 'challenge', which isn't really a challenge, just more of a project. I have 22 old images of nail art I did when I first started my blog, then got annoyed and deleted because they're such bad quality photos, so I shall be starting a 'then and now' project, to see how, not only my photography has improved, but my skills too. I shall hopefully be posting them once a week for next 22 weeks but we'll see how that goes! What do you think?

Hope you like them!
