Picture Polish 2014 Collaborations: Forget Me Not, Sizzle, Fools Gold and Unicorn - Swatches and Review

Hey everyone! As promised I have four of the new Picture Polish collaborations for you today, including two from my friends Sammy (The Nailasaurus), and Allie (Brit Nails). These are my first ever Picture Polishes and I'm really really impressed, I can definitely see why it has such a good reputation as a company. All of these polishes are good quality, dry quickly and look great, what more could you want?

Picture Polish - Fools Gold by The Nailasaurus

Fools Gold* was designed by The Nailasaurus, you can see her inspiration here. This was 3 easy coats, two might have been enough but it was a bit patchy for me in places. I expected it to dry textured but it actually dried smooth and shiny, and fast! This was without topcoat

Picture Polish - Forget Me Not by Lacquertude

Forget Me Not* was designed by Lacquertude, who's swatches you'll see all over the Picture Polish website! You can see her inspiration for this shade here. This, like with Fools Gold, was 3 coats, but two could have been a possibility. Also dried fast and shiny. Shown without topcoat

Picture Polish - Sizzle by Cosmetic Sanctuary

Sizzle* was designed by Cosmetic Sanctuary. You've already seen this shade in my swirling nail art here, so you'll know that I love it. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did actually. You can see the inspiration for this shade here. The pictures make it look like a very muted pink but this is actually a very bright neon. It dries half matte, which is more noticeable with the first coat, so you might want to add topcoat, but I didn't for these pictures and I still think it looks great! This was 2 coats.

Picture Polish - Unicorn by Brit Nails

And last but definitely not least is Unicorn*, designed by Allie from Brit Nails. You can read her inspiration here. This polish is a little pot of madness and I love it! So much going on but somehow it still works together. This was 3 easy coats, with one coat of topcoat as it dried slightly textured.

Picture Polish retails for AUS $12, and you can get it here on Picture Polish's website, or from Rainbow Connection and Sally Magpies if you're in the UK. And if you're in the US, Llarowe and Color4Nails are for you. If none of these apply to you, you can also check to see where to buy from for your country here.

What do you think? Will you be purchasing any of the collaboration shades? Let me know in the comments!
