VVB Victoria Beckham Nails Inc Collaboration Collection 2014: Review and Swatches

Hey everyone! Today I have a super exciting new release to show you from Nails Inc: two new polishes designed in collaboration with Victoria Beckham. The collection contains two colours, Judo Red*, and Bamboo White*. The press release reads: 'The covetable and collectible duo features two new polish shades – Judo Red and Bamboo White - developed with an exclusive formulation featuring Stretch-To-Fit technology and Bamboo Extract with Silica and is presented within a sleek new bottle design ... Designed by Fabien Baron and customised by Victoria Beckham'. These retail at £25 each so they are very high end but they're absolutely beautiful and the quality is amazing. They're not for everyone but if you're the kind of person to like expensive nail polish these are definitely for you.

Bamboo White* is a gorgeous off-white colour. This was 2 extremely easy coats, the application really was perfect on this and it dried very fast and super shiny.

Judo Red*, is a lovely bright red, but it almost leans towards orange. This was 2 very easy coats, again with perfect application, and it dried super fast and shiny.

Overall I'm really impressed with these polishes, you can tell the quality in them and even though they're not for everyone they're perfect for the market that they're aimed at. I also am absolutely in love with the bottles, we all know I'm a fan of anything matte so I hope Nails Inc stick with this in other releases because it looks ace.

These retail at £25 each or £45 for the set and can be bought exclusively at Selfridges here.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I think your pictures are lovely, the Bamboo White is a lovely colour and would be a great base for nail art- but the price point for these is unrealistic. Nails Inc haven't included diamond dust, stuck an actual diamond on the bottle or invented a new unique colour that no one has ever seen before, so to charge that money is ridiculous. If they had been £25 for a set or £13 each then Bamboo White may have made it on my wish list, but with the actual prices I will stick with my Barry M Gellys!

  2. Gosh, these are pretty but sadly not super unique. I;d love them as I love a unique bottle but I'm not going to part with £45 for two just before Christmas. And I'll be honest I'd rather pick up two Chanels for £38 and get points.

Your swatches are stunning however! (as always)

  3. Lovely swatches!!! I am eyeing on that Bamboo white one. Though it is simple, I find it classy and pretty.

  4. Love the colours, but I find the price staggeringly high! There are enough mainstream brands that have similar colours that are way less expensive, I guess I will stick with those. But your swatches are really tempting I must admit...!!

  5. I love the bamboo white... Did you use a top coat or anything?
