Review Week, Day 5: Models Own Fruit Pastels 2014 Collection Swatches

Hey everyone! It's the last day of review week today, and I have yet another Models Own review for you. It seems like this has been more a Models Own week than anything else but they've released so many amazing products recently that I just couldn't resist! Today's post is the gorgeous new Fruit Pastel polishes they've released recently to add-on to their previous collection. These are scented polishes, in the colours Coconut Cream* and Peach Melba*, and I absolutely love the scents! Of course, if you read my recent review of the Barry M Summer Gelly collection you'll have noticed that there's a very similar shade to Coconut Cream in there, unhelpfully also named Coconut, it appears that great minds think alike! So below I have compared both of them for you, along with OPI - My Vampire is Buff

Coconut Cream* is a gorgeous off-white, although mostly white, polish. This was 3 coats but you may be able to get away with 2. Didn't dry hugely fast but this can be combated with a topcoat, which I didn't use for these photos

And here's my comparison. As you can see MVIB is a lot darker than the others, this is what I meant in my review of Barry M - Coconut when I mentioned that it seems to be more of a nude than an off-white. Of the three, Coconut Cream* is the lightest, and probably more close to white that off white.

Of the three Barry M - Coconut is my favourite as it only required 2 coats whilst the others required 3, and it dried a lot quicker as a result, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I don't like the others. Coconut Cream* is a lot more shiny than the others, and of course smells like coconuts so that makes it a bit more unique!

Peach Melba* is a gorgeous peachy colour (as the name would suggest). This was 3 coats, but like with Coconut Cream* you could probably get away with 2. This is without topcoat

What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
